Compare mode lists the tested-device catalog and only compares devices that share the selected methodology. Up to 4 devices can be active at once.

The Explorer compares only measurements stored in the MBReviews benchmark database. Long stability runs are downsampled for the chart; the full one-second source series remains stored in the database.

How the Test Lab works

The Lab uses the same benchmark database as the Test Explorer inside MBReviews reviews. Comparisons depend on the available test configuration, clients and methodology, not simply the WiFi generation on the box.

Multi-client protocols are identified explicitly. Historical v1 results are ranked together, while transitional v1.5 results, currently the EnGenius ECW515, are shown separately. Future v2 results will not be mixed into the v1 ranking.
