Hey folks, I’m in a bit of a pickle trying to choose between the Ubiquiti U6 Pro and the TP-Link EAP660 HD for my setup. I’ve got a ton of devices that need to stay connected, so I’m really looking for the most stable connection possible. Any of you tech-savvy people have experience with either of these? Which one handles lots of traffic without dropping the ball? Thanks a million!

The Ubiquiti U6 Pro is known for its impressive range and handling of multiple devices. It’s robust and consistent, ideal if you have a larger area to cover. On the other hand, the TP-Link EAP660 HD offers a slightly higher combined Wi-Fi speed, which may prove beneficial if your devices are data-heavy. However, it might need more frequent reboots compared to the Ubiquiti. Overall, for stability, you might find the U6 Pro to be a bit more reliable.

The U6 Pro, with its Wi-Fi 6 technology, provides a robust connection even under heavy traffic. However, it does require more technical know-how for setup and management. On the other hand, the EAP660 HD is easier to install and manage, but some users have reported occasional disconnects with a large number of devices. If you’re comfortable tinkering with more advanced settings, the Ubiquiti could be the better choice; if not, the TP-Link might suit you better. Both should handle high traffic fairly well. Always remember that optimal device placement also plays a significant role in network performance
